Caribbean Princess 4th of July in 2010

Sounds like a good group cruise but, I wonder if Caribbean Princess will still be in NYC for summers in 2010 or if they'll bring up one of the other ships. Doesn't really matter, but, Caribbean Princess would be great!

It doesn't matter to me which ship, just the perfect week for cruise for me! And I LOVE Princess!

Hi Princess Cruisers,

I'm looking for a specific website. Over on CC there is someone who made a website all about Caribbean Princess and I thought the address was http://www.caribbeanprincess.com but, when I pull it up, the site isn't there. Does anyone know what I'm talking about and if so, do you know if this is the correct web address and if not, do you have the right one?

More than likely going to book, 4th of July is one of the weeks of the year we normally cruise and we'll have the whole family in tow - parents, neices, nephews, aunts, uncles, cousins.

It is official!! I have been assigned the July 4, 2010 Princess sailing out of NYC!!
Looks like we already have alot of interest in this sailing!
I can't think of anything better than sailing out of NYC on the 4th of July on a Princess Cruise.
I am hoping to plan a two-night pre-cruise stay before we sail!!

Yes, I did see those posts and there are alot of great ideas! I would love to have us see a Broadway Show and the Sightseeing Bus sounds like alot of fun!
There are so many options! My husband may take off to see a Mets game if they're playing while we're there!

Ok! Finally! Why the @#%#*^$ over on CC never thought of a pre-cruise stay in Manhattan prior to cruising out of NJ or NYC has long been a question of mine. If I'm traveling all the way to the East coast, I don't want to just go from an airport to the ship, I want to few days to decompress and extend my vacation a bit. Until now, I've always had to do it on my own.

I can say with strong confidence I will be able to fill 5 cabins AND have everyone in my party participate in the pre-cruise activities, especially since will be a few that will be traveling with children who have never been to NYC.

THANK YOU, THANK YOU, THANK YOU for having the vision to not only offer group cruises during the peak weeks of the year but, for having the vision to offer great pre-cruise packages!

I'm glad you are happy!!! I agree with you! Many of us will be flying to NY and will enjoy the pre-cruise portion. I am planning to bring my 3 kids, so I'm glad to hear there will be other kids joining us!

David, couldn't agree with you more! I don't know what LS is thinking over on CC but the majority of the groups are during school times and, even if it is available when the kids are out of school, you mention kids on a group cruise over there and you get your head handed to you! And, as far as the pre-cruise thing, again, it's Manhattan, I live about 30 to 45 minutes away depending on traffic, I LOVE the city! I can't imagine coming into the area and not visiting New York! And, staying in NJ is NOT the same thing as staying in New York. Kind of like going to Orlando and then only going to Seaworld and not Disney...
