ron - my father-in-law is a big nascar fan so for his 75th birthday this year we are giving him a nascar ride-along at pocono downs. since i don't watch nascar i am hoping that this is something he will really like. as a nascar fan do you think this is something he is going to go woo-hoo about?

I'll have to check with Don before I choose a team, he's the NASCAR fan. I personally consider myself a NASCAR Widow, though this gives me a lot of time to myself for 36 weeks out of the year.

I just joined the group as Pink Ribbon Racer. This is pretty new to me. My husband runs a league at espn and I have always been in that one. Not sure how yours works, so I am off to read up on it. 6 days to Daytona!!

I set my team without Don's help. My team name is Nascar Widow. I was in his race league/pool for one year and quit after one year, let's see if I make it the entire season or not.

I told Don I signed up a team for this and he's shocked. I also think he's dissappointed in me since I'll no longer participate in his race league.

I'm tied for third place this week. Just 6 points behind Ron. Not bad for a non-race fan Yankee. Heck I didn't even watch the race.

Jackie's in first place congratulations. I dropped to fourth place but that's OK since I'm ahead of Ron who's in fifth place.

I'm still puzzled on what I'm supposed to do!
I guess I have to read it a little closer.
