| How does the Majesty compare to the NCL Spirit? We went on the Spirit to Belize and are thinking about going to Bermuda. The closest it looks like for us to leave from will be Charleston SC and the Majesty is the only ship from there. | |

| We sailed out of NYC on the Spirit ,and were looking at the Charlestown, SC cruise as well. So now there are two of us seeking the same information. | |

| Someone on here said it was the worst ship they had ever been on. Guess I might have to rethink the Majesty. | |

| Ginny and I once booked a South Carribean which was blasted as a booze cruise on every board. We liked the itinerary so we booked a Balcony and set sail ready to bunker down in our cabin if the drunks ran amok. The price was very reasonable based on all the bad press. Needless to say it was a great cruise.
A multiplicity of perspectives is always helpful. Also, know your own needs. The Majesty may be a bad ship but on a port intensive itinerary that may be less important than if on a crossing. I hope this helps and sounds reasonable.

I have been on the Majesty a couple of years ago. We are going on the Spirit in three weeks and I could give a better comparison after that. The Majesty is an older & smaller ship than the Spirit. We enjoyed the ship & its crew. Though it is not really set up for freestyle, it worked otherwise. Gene

| The Majesty is the oldest and smallest ship in the NCL fleet. There are no balcony category cabins on the Majesty. It has already been sold, and will be leaving the NCL fleet within a year. I have a client here in Baltimore that asked about the Majesty out of Baltimore and I recommended they go to NYC and take the Dawn instead, even though it is more expensive and a 4-hour drive. | |
