Well I'm very interested in this sailing and do plan on booking the pre-cruise so, I'll make a few of my suggestions:

New York Palace - even though it's rated as a Deluxe hotel, I've often booked this hotel at the same if not lower prices than less hotels such as the Raddison or even the Holiday Inn. Here's the link: http://www.newyorkpalace.com/

Holiday Inn - surprisingly nice, it cannot in any way, shape or form compare to the New York Palace but, for a Holiday Inn it's a very pleasant surprise. I'm not talking about the Crown Plaza on Broadway, this is the Holiday Inn on West 57th. Novotel would be a nice choice - good location, clean, basic no frills hotel and, I think that is what most of us are looking for - just a place to shower and sleep.
