QM2 Independence Day July 1 2009 - Roll Call

I was hoping to get to see Bennet.

lI haven't told my girls yet either. I know they will be disappointed.

I feel badly for Nina too... all that work....

I wanted to see Bennett too!!! Nina can't bring him to cruise360 this week, because he still can't be exposed to the public that much, so QM2 was going to be the perfect chance!!

My kids will really be disappointed too. They really wanted to see what my wife and I raved about when we were on the QM2 in Nov. 2007.

I feel real bad for Nina too. All that work and zilch for commission with the cancellations.

Interesting the saga about assets being frozen continues... they were frozen, then they weren't...payments would be made, in January etc...wait, are the assets frozen again?

So sad.....the roller coaster came off the bars...

I too am sorry not to meet you all. I havent cancelled my hotel yet, but luckily its only a $25 nonrefundable deposit I lose. Plus the formals I bought for QM2, but will just start wearing next week, even if formal isnt required on RCL. Maybe we will meet another time.

Hi, all-

I just want to throw my 2 cents in here.... Why not just sit tight and wait to see what happens? Tina is dealing with A LOT at the moment-- a lot that many of you aren't aware of. And if you are aware of it, and this is the way that you are behaving, you should be ashamed of yourselves. Please bear in mind that Tina is the reason that we are all together as a group. She is the reason that Cruise Freeks exists. She is the reason that so many travel agents - myself included - have been able to increase their client lists exponentially.

Keep the negativity to emails and private messages. This back-biting is too much for anyone to handle - especially someone who is going through a rough medical time. The cruise isn't until July. Chill out.

Regarding space on the QM2, it is still available. If you're a travel agent, go check it out in OneSource. It's there. If you want to go so badly and get comped for it NOW, why not create your own group and sell it to your clients? You can earn your own TCs that way and apply it to your cabin. That's what I do with the cruises that I go on.

Candice, I don't have a clue what is going on. Tina hasnt told me a thing. All I know is my booking was cancelled. If things change great, if not, Im ok with that too, but I would have liked to meet Bennett, thats not being negative. I am ok no matter what happens.

Dear 4th of July cruisers,

First, I need to clarify some items so everyone is on the same page. First, unless you receive notice from ME then everyone is still going on the cruise if you have won a cabin. That is guaranteed. IF YOU WON A CABIN, YOU WILL STILL BE GOING ON 4TH OF JULY. IF YOU ARE PART OF THE HALLOWEEN DEAL. YOU ARE STILL GOING. PERIOD.

Secondly, the only thing that cancels out today are upgrades and group space. There is still plenty of cabin space available which is something Nina failed to mention in her email - an oversight, I am sure.

I am a very private person. Telling everyone about my cancer fight was extremely hard. It is no one's business what took place in my personal life but, this is a time where I feel I must share my heart-ache. If you want the full story EMAIL ME. So
that is why - regardless of how suspicious it may seem - things have been delayed. I will follow through and I hope you understand why I resent having to defend myself.

Then on top of it, I have travel agents stabbing me in the back, even though each one of them know the whole story. And that hurts me deeply.

I am not happy and this is not the state of mind to be in entering into a medical fight like I am facing. Your bookings will be taken care of - guaranteed. I hope you have a wonderful time on the sailing. I will not be joining you.

Once again unless you receive notice from me, you ARE going to have the
cabin promised you for July 1, 2009 and the pre-cruise package as
promised. IF YOU NEED MORE INFORMATION EMAIL ME AND DO NOT MAKE STORIES UP THAT ARE NOT TRUE!

By the way, I asked Nina to send out an email I wrote to all of you over an hour ago. I just want to get that on record.

Unfortunately for me I am not able to wait any longer. Since this is out of my control I have to do things that are in my control and that means camps for my daughters. One of which conflicts with this cruise. Payment on it are due next week so I can't wait any longer. Hope those of you who are still able to go have a great time.
