| This one is going to show my age... For those who remember the TV show "Taxi" - The Sunshine Cab company was located in Manhattan. Inside the garage is where most of the stories took place. Danny DeVito's character "Louie DePalma" would bark out orders from this object... Name this object. Hint: Marilu Henner's character "Elaine Nardo" once asked "What’s wrong? Don’t they feed you in there" |

| You're kiddin! That was a total guess! I seem to remember there was wire or fencing around the box... This is a ship question...which relates to NYC because they have ported there) Between the RMS Queen Mary and the SS Normandie: Which liner used more fuel when traveling. Why? | |

| Guessing, I'm going to say the Normandie and that it has something to do with gross tonage of the ship - heavier needing more fuel to go the same distance. |

That would have been my guess too. You're really tossing some tough ones at us, I love it. I actually get to use my brain and think a bit. |

| The Queen Mary required more fuel, and I think it was because she had bigger faster engines? | |

HINT: Something about the hull was different. Double hull construction for QM? |

| hint...they added something to the bow, reducing the bow wake...thus saving fuel. | |

| Ok I'll take another guess - QM and it used less fuel because they added a bulb nose to the hull? |

| ding-ding! Correct Marina. It was indeed the added bulbous nose that reduced drag and reduced fuel consumption. The Queen Mary didn't have this feature.
Next question is yours. | |

| This question is to help you start learning your way around the city. If I want to go to Times Square from the Hyatt Hotel at Grand Central. Which subway train do I take? |

| Ok... if you look at a map of Manhattan you will notice that there is no 4th Avenue. Why is this? | |

| The first four season (a la Michael J Fox) were both set and filmed in NYC, season five took filming out to Los Angeles. |
