| Nina,
I can't speak for anyone else but, I think these charity cruises are a wonderful idea. I know it's too late for Christmas and Independence Day but, I'd like to see us tie our future cruises to a worthwhile charity. How does everyone feel about the idea in general? Maybe donate $100 per cabin? |

| Derek,
I think it is a great idea. If you look at the Travel Agent Directory of Cruise Freek Forum, you will find 2 agents (Susan and myself) that have charity programs in place for all travel, not just specific crusie sailings. | |

| Derek, I also think it is a wonderful idea! My first thought would be to tie in the double transit. That particular cruise will offer so many options for lenght, timing etc that people can choose what works for them while still being able to participate. Plus, is still far enough out to start organizing it. Did you have a particular charity in mind? | |

| I agree with Derek ... great idea, buddy! 100 bucks per cabin should work. And so many worthwhile causes out there. Please keep me informed! | |

| Oh yes, I should have thought to list one! CMA http://www.cmaid.org/ they are a Christian organization that works for the complete overall improvement of a people group including job training, health care, schooling and encouraging the population to become educated in a vocation and teach/serve in their own communities. I realize that a more universal charity may be preferred by the group but wanted to list this one anyway because I've known the founders since childhood and was always impressed by their dedication (they've devoted over 20 years!) and their concept that it isn't enough to just hand someone a fish one time but instead to teach them to fish for themselves and their communities. | |
