Tropical Storm Fung-Wong (70 mph) has made landfall in mainland China
and is expected to dissipate within 48 hours. The storm. producing
gusty winds and flooding rains, is currently tracking northwestward
through Fujian Province.
Meanwhile, the tropical Atlantic and eastern Pacific Basins remain relatively
inactive with no significant threats of storm development. | |
