No other official groups yet, but I do have group space for Easter 2009 on Emerald and a March 28, 2009 sailing on Ruby if you're interested.

| I don't know about anyone else but, I'd love to take a cruise from San Juan. Anyone want to try for a group for a Southern Caribbean run? Doesn't really matter when, I don't have kids except my pets so I can go just about anytime. | |

| Funny you should mention all of this - I emailed Host Ivanova about the Valentines' Day group cruise on Ruby that went poof. Would you guys still be interested in that one? If yes, we're going to have to move quickly on it. So be ready to deposit if you give thumbs up. However, I'm very flexible too, if you want a different ship or even date, I can probably go. As a reminder Ruby Princess was for February 14, 2009 Western Itinerary. | |

| Maybe... the only problem for me is that it would HAVE to be that week of February 14th, that's when my kids are off for mid-winter break. My next window of opportunity would be the week of April 11th (Easter week). And, then I'm stuck until late June. | |

| I hear ya Robyn. I thought the idea of Valentine's day was great - no law that says we HAVE to go on Princess. Would you guys be open to another cruise line? Celebrity? Royal Caribbean? Carnival? | |

| Yep! Prices I received for a group are as follows:
JS - Junior Suite - $2413.87 per person D1 - Balcony - $1903.87 per person D2 - Balcony $1563.87 per person E1 - Balcony $1603.87 per person (yes that is right, not a typo) I - Outside - $1363.87 per person Q- Inside $1013.87 per person
3rd and 4th $978.87 per person
Quads are open in category D1, F. H, I and L Triples are open in catgory D1, E1, F, H, I and L
The prices include all port charges, taxes and fuel surcharges. Like I said they said there are 8 GAP points? I'm not sure what that means other than it's amenities.
Deposits are $250 per person and final payment is December 6, 2008

| Oh and I emailed Tina if we can reform the group, so if we want this, we have to be REALLY serious this time. I am waiting for her reply. | |

| Wow, and I thought I did research. I used Cruise Compete once, didn't like the agents that were directed my way, far too pushy! Anyhow, I'll talk it over with the family tonight. I know I'm interested. Ruby or Liberty would work nicely. And, I'll get back on later or tomorrow. Hopefully Tina says yes but, like you said we better be ready to deposit this time. We can't form the group again and not follow through! | |

| Hello everyone! Let me know what you're interested in, and I"ll block the space. As Tina told Josh though, we have to be able to book the rooms and put down the deposits immediately this time around. |

| While I'm not the biggest Carnival fan in the world, I do like the idea of the extra day, that's kind of a nice perk. I did some fast pricing on the Carnival site and here are the prices for the February 14th sailing:
Inside Category 4A $922.68 pp Outside Category 6A $1072.68 pp Balcony Category 8A $1302.68 pp Suite Category 11 $1852.68 pp
I did this really quickly so forgive me if my math is a bit off. Susan, does Carnival discount for groups?

keep in mind airfares to San Juan might be more than flying to a domestic port..... |

| I just Private Messaged Susan to price both Liberty of the Seas and Carnival Freedom and see what type of amenities are available for each, then we can put it to a vote. Does that sound fair? | |

| Here's the good news, bad news....
Carnival Freedom has no amenity points - if you wanted to pay more per person (for 1st and 2nd passengers in the room) we could purchase amenity points at $8 per person per point we wanted to purchase. So for example, 4 points would cost $40 more per person and would get us a $100 per room OBC (so you'd be spending $40 to get a $50 OBC in essence).
RCL Liberty of the Seas has enough amenity points available today for a $100 OBC, the lowest catgegories available in group space are: N (inside) for $1183.87pp I (ocean view) for $1463.87pp E2 (balcony) for $1663.87pp jr suites for $2413.87pp. Other categories may be available and if you were interested in them, I could see about pulling them into the group. Those prices include the taxes, port charges and fuel surcharge and apply to 1st and 2nd passengers in the room only (doesn't apply to 3rd/4th passengers).
RCL Freedom OTS and Independence OTS are also options if you want me to check those out. They both depart 2/15 so we'd miss Valentine's Day onboard ...

| I know you are all discussing Valentines, but if anyone is interested in the Liberty of the Seas sailing 1/31/09, I still have some group space left on that date. I also have group space on several Princess Alaska sailings next summer if anyone is interested in those. | |
